Susan Meek, Care Coordinator
Susan has worked as a care coordinator on and off for 25 years! She came to treatment at New Directions for Women in 1992, and never left. She is passionate about recovery and the transformative work that goes on at NDFW because as she says, “it gave me my life back.” Susan works directly with the women on a day to day pasis, transporting them to meetings, teaching life skills and structure, and attending to any needs they may have, whether that’s towels and linens or lending a sympathetic ear. Susan encourages others to trust the process, somethings she had to learn herself while transforming her life at NDFW almost three decades ago.
When she is not working as a care coordinator or volunteering as a part of the alumnae association, Susan enjoys needlepoint, playing with her grandson, and spoiling her two dogs.
