Exclusively Serving Women Suffering from Addictions for Over 40 Years
Addiction Treatment Program. Treating Women, Pregnant Women, and Women with Children.
Insurance Providers We Accept at New Directions for Women
Alcoholism and addiction affect one out of every ten women in the United States. New Directions for Women has committed to exclusively healing women for over forty years. Choosing the right women’s drug rehab can be difficult. We understand the issues women of all ages face, including recovering through grief and loss, healing from trauma, and building healthy relationships. Our treatment team designs an individualized treatment plan for each woman to heal their body, mind, and spirit.
Pregnant Women and Mothers With Children
We are proud to be one of the few facilities in the world that welcomes a pregnant woman in any trimester, as well as mothers with their children. Children receive services in our daycare while our mothers are in clinical programming. Young kids get to walk alongside their Moms on their family recovery journey and build a strong bond during the experience. Women without children also find healing at our sanctuary. It is part of every woman’s journey to learn how addiction affects their family system, so our family program is integral to our work.
Women of all Ages
By choice, our women’s drug and alcohol program includes women from 18 up to 90. It is a powerful experience for young women and mature women to learn from each other. Our treatment team empowers the healing of intergenerational relationships, and the wisdom that is passed on in this environment. Our mature women have unique issues that are addressed in specialized clinical programming, as do our younger women in separate programming.
