Meeting the Recovery Community In Texas

Connecting with other drug and alcohol treatment centers throughout the nation gives us opportunities to learn about what others are doing to heal their patients. In order to transform as many lives as possible, we recently visited Texas to learn from other experts in the addiction treatment field.

Our trip to Texas was facilitated by Ann Premazon, board member of NDFW. She is originally from Texas and has many contacts that are helpful as we continue to reach out to those women, children, and families that suffer from substance abuse.

This trip was filled with many introductions. NDFW, as a non-profit organization, will flourish if we continue to build relationships nationwide. We spent a week meeting people and organizations that devote their time to helping the addict that still suffers. We visited Austin, Dallas, and Kerrville Texas.

Here is a brief list of some of the Addiction Treatment Centers we visited:

  • Arbor Treatment Center
  • Austin Recovery Center
  • Students In Recovery
  • LaHacienda Treatment Center
  • Recovery Inn
  • Gatson House
  • Nexus Recovery Center
  • Caron Treatment Center

There are plenty of rehab options for people who suffer from the disease of addiction. Referrals and ideas for treatment come as a result of these connections. Each connection offers a lesson. New Directions for Women believes in the power of recovery.

If you know a woman or family needs treatment contact us at TwitterFacebookLinkedIn, or simply by phone at 800-939-6636. Our caring Admissions Counselors are happy to serve and offer resources that fit your needs.
