From the New Directions for Women Butterfly Bulletin Fall 2014

This Fall we are moving from paper to electronic health records in an effort to improve efficiency and add ease to daily work flow. With the implementation of Sigmund Software, a major shift is underway in the management of all regular administrative and clinical tasks involved in our day-to-day operations.

“This software will help everyone be more economical with their time,” said Jennifer Medina, Quality Improvement and HR Manager. “Among many things, it allows everyone managing a case simultaneous access to a patient’s record. So the time spent shuffling papers can now give clinicians more face-to-face time with their patients.”

The cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) software was specifically created for use in addiction treatment and behavioral healthcare. A turnkey product, Sigmund Software was designed by people in our industry – people who understand addiction treatment, counseling, medications, and accreditation requirements.

“Sigmund’s training team has been amazing – the transition couldn’t be smoother,” said Jennifer. “With the launch of this new software, I look forward to an improvement in continuity of care and an enrichment of our overall service delivery.”
