My dear sweet friend went to New Directions For Women hopelessly addicted to heroin. They helped her get clean and today she is enjoying a beautiful life in recovery. I am so grateful to have my friend back! Going to New Directions For Women absolutely changed her life! The team was so loving and compassionate toward her. They helped her learn to love herself again. I would recommend New Directions For Women for any woman who wants to find freedom from active addiction.
I was invited as an Substance Abuse Interventionist & Counselor to view the facilities at NDFW. I have been invited to do the same at many other facilities. NDFW’s presentation was so well organized. It was educational and experiential. We were introduced to many of the staff from the CEO on down and without a doubt they all shared the same characteristics of love, caring, compassion and hope in helping their clients. They support a very challenging population of pregnant women in any trimester and women with or without children with a variety of services and therapeutic protocols. I felt a sense of controlled freedom there. We met former clients who shared their stories with us and now are helping other women heal at NDFW. If you are a woman who is struggling with addiction, or you know someone who is, please call them, it will be the best decision you ever made.
Such a beautiful location and the staff is amazing. They truly care for every woman that walks through the doors, and provide them with the best opportunity to clean up their life. I highly recommend!
I was at new directions for an entire year! I can not tell you how magical this place is, this place is home too me, I have been too several treatment centers in the area but this one has been the only one that has really really helped me. I created a life for myself here with the help of the new directions team! Dawn was my therapist and she has given me so many tools, she stayed by my side too help me build up my life! Gina, the clinical director has soooo much wisdom and knowledge too share! I was in residential for about 4 mos total then moved on top there intensive sober living phase. The house is beautiful, I had so much structure and direction there. Monica is the house manager and she is a dream too live with. Sarah is the main staff who looks over the sober living girls and she truly just wants what’s best for every resident. I am not a huge Yelp person but this place is so amazing and I am forever indebted too them. I have seen so many women get there children a kid at this place! Coming too new directions was the best thing I have ever done for myself! They have an excellent alumni program as well!
