Danielle Fernandez serves as our Intake Coordinator. She is passionate about serving women and their families because the disease of alcoholism and addiction can tear families apart. But as she says, “a place like NDFW can restore these women back to sanity, and back to their families”. Danielle is part of the Intake team, who answers the call for help from women and families throughout the nation. On a daily basis, she helps women of all ages realize there is hope from the devastating disease of addiction and that she is there to help them start their journey of recovery. Before joining the New Directions for Women team, Danielle worked for a third-party medical billing company and graduated from Miami – Dade college with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
Her words of inspiration for anybody considering recovery: “There is no rock bottom that your higher power will not pull you out of and we are here to help you find your path towards a better life; a life of recovery.”
