Aurora Salazar, Chef
Aurora trained under our Executive Chef, Fatima Abuzaineh. She has always loved cooking and initially got inspired to enter this field by her mother (who’s an incredible cook!) Before she joined our team, she served as a florist for large events. She brings this attention to detail and passion for environment of care to our program.
Aurora loves seeing how our patients’ moods and outlook can change after a delicious, home cooked meal. Her favorite thing to prepare is steaks grilled on our outside patio, because she gets to be outside in the California sunshine.
In her free time, Aurora enjoys road trips, camping, and listening to music.
