Rae Ann Marquez, Admissions and Marketing
Rae Ann Marquez has over ten years of experience in the behavioral health industry herself, and walked by her late husband Tony’s side for almost thirty years in the field. Because of that, she has been involved with New Directions for Women for decades before taking on this role in admissions and marketing.
Her life’s journey has taught her that all that matters is love. Every time she walks onto the campus of NDFW, she sees examples of that love in the patients, staff, referents, and the way they all interact with each other. Her own healing path involved significant trauma work, family of origin work, and experiential therapy. So, she loves being able to watch women heal at NDFW in the same way as they dig deep inside themselves to see where the dots connect.
Joining the admissions and marketing team is a natural next step in her path. Her favorite part of the work is giving people hope, whether they’re potential patients, family members, or behavioral health professionals. She is a natural encourager, and loves to show others that there are always answers, hope, and healing available to them. They don’t have to live with the pain of addiction by themselves. Rae Ann is celebrating 39 years of continuous recovery this year and is passionate about giving away what has been so freely given to her.
