New Directions for Women hosts community events to bring the Orange County recovery community together, to reduce the stigma that surrounds substance use disorder, and celebrate our alumnae, care partners, and volunteers. We are proud to host several 12-Step and self-help meetings to provide hope to community members, whether they have been through our treatment program or not. Each event listed below is open to the community, unless otherwise stated. For more information on any event, fill out our contact form with any questions!
Women’s AA Meeting With Child Care
August 13 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Thursday, repeating indefinitely
Childcare can be a barrier to not only entering addiction treatment, but also to sustaining recovery practices such as attending 12-step or other self-help meetings. We want to help our alumnae and other women in Costa Mesa and Orange County overcome this barrier by providing free daycare for our 12-step meeting. We are always looking for volunteers to assist us with this, as well! On the 4th Thursday of the month, we celebrate birthdays and anniversaries at our meeting. Join us!
