Circle of Life Breakfast 2019
We all have loved someone, and possibly struggled ourselves, with the devastating effects of substance use disorder. You may know first-hand the wreckage addiction brings into our lives—from creating situations of homelessness, violence and abuse, to the loss of our children and those closest to us.
It takes our entire community working together to transform the lives of the women, children, and families seeking treatment at New Directions for Women. For over 40 years, our donors, volunteers, and alumnae are the reason we’re able to continue our vital work. Your gifts of time, talent, and treasure allow us to help women experience the miracle of recovery. When women heal, families heal, and the generational cycle of addiction is broken.
Please join us for our annual celebration and fundraiser, the 11th Annual Circle of Life Breakfast, on March 25th. We’ll be sharing an update on all we’ve accomplished over the last year, hear moving testimonials from our alumnae and volunteers, and share ways to continue transforming the lives of families struggling with addiction right here in Orange County. While there is no cost to attend, we hope the inspirational event will move you to give from your heart to the Pamela Wilder Scholarship Fund—because all women deserve the chance to heal.
We are both looking forward to seeing you in person for the Breakfast!
Circle of Life Breakfast 2018
If it takes a village to raise a child, it certainly takes our entire community to transform the lives of the women and families who seek recovery at New Directions for Women. Research shows that women develop addictions more quickly than men do (a phenomenon known as telescoping), and it physically impacts them more intensely. Because of this, they need longer treatment stays.
Being able to provide partial scholarships is so important. We have transformed the lives of thousands of women and children since 1977, but we need your help to continue our vital work. Please join us for our complimentary celebration and fundraiser, the 10th Annual Circle of Life Breakfast, on March 19th.
We’d love for you to meet our incoming Executive Director Sue Bright in person, say hello to Becky Flood who will be joining us as a Board Member for this event, and most importantly, get an update on the life-changing work we’ve been blessed to take part in over the past year.
I look forward to seeing you there in person for this inspirational gathering!
