Whitney Hamlin, Quality Improvement and Human Resources Manager
Whitney brings to New Directions for Women over 8 years of experience in the Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Treatment field. Prior to her role as Human Resources and Quality Improvement Manager, Whitney served as Administrative Director for an Eating Disorder Treatment Center in Maui, HI and Director of Quality Assurance for a Substance Use Disorder Continuum in the American West. Whitney has successfully led New Directions for Women to CARF re-accreditation, first time ASAM Certification, as well as the implementation of NAATP’s Outcomes Pilot Program (OPP). Whitney has spearheaded New Directions for Women’s efforts for continuous improvement through data collection and analysis, especially as it relates to long term monitoring and quality of life outcomes. Through her human resources leadership, Whitney has a passion for helping current and future personnel reach their highest potential.
Sober since 2010, Whitney believes that “when women heal, generations heal.” When not at work she is usually found at the beach with her husband and two daughters.
