There is more than one way you can help to accelerate recovery from substance abuse.  Explore the options below and see which of our creative giving programs best suit your philanthropic interests.

Planned Giving -- Planned giving can enable you to make a charitable gift to New Directions to Women, meet your current income needs, and take advantage of tax incentives.  By providing us with the financial stability we need to plan for the long term, together we can ensure that our patients and families will always have the support they need.

Wilder Scholarship Fund - The Wilder Scholarship Fund is a special way to love, honor and help loved ones and provide hope to others by funding treatment.  There is no limit to the number of people who can contribute to an individual scholarship, and one can be created with any donation amount, no matter how small or large.  The money contributed by you or your family and friends will be used to support NDFW life-saving treatment for substance abuse.

Las Socias Auxiliary -- Join our group of community leaders dedicated to the financial support of New Directions and receive exclusive invitations to Auxiliary member functions and have an impact in the community by being a part of this support base.

Workplace/Employee Gifts --

  • Company matching:  Many companies will match a portion of their employee's charitable contributions.  Which better way to increase the value of your gift? Check with your employer today to see if they have a matching gift program.  Combined Federal Campaign - If you are a federal employee, you can contribute to NDFW by designating us on your CFC pledge form
  • Circle of Life Tours:  Host an employee luncheon to have guest speaker educate your staff about alcoholism and drug addiction.  We can help your loved ones.  Knowledge will provide strength and hope.
  • Sponsorship - Marketing dollars can be utilized to receive maximum community exposure at annual events.

Gifts of Stock -- There can be many immediate tax advantages to making gifts of stock in lieu of cash.  When making your gift, consider your options.  Please contact Kim Farthing at 800.939.6636, ext. 502

Restricted Gifts -- NDFW makes every effort to spend your funds according to your wishes.  Often, there are specific areas of interest that you would like to support; i.e., facility maintenance, education, treatment, children's program, etc. are of specific concern to you or your family.  If you are interested in establishing a restricted fund, please call Executive Director/CEO, Rebecca Flood at 800.939.6636.
