Becky Flood, MHS, LCADC, NCACII, BRI II Executive Director / CEO, New Directions for Women
Becky Flood appears and presents at local, national and international conferences on addiction as well as annually hosts international networking events to improve the service delivery of those suffering from addiction. She has been interviewed by a number of media sources and is regarded as an expert on addiction treatment methods and especially for her knowledge of gender-specific addiction treatment.
With more than three decades of experience in the addiction field, Becky Flood has demonstrated expertise in program development, implementation, evaluation, clinical oversight, business development and responsible fiscal management. She is the Executive Director and CEO of New Directions for Women, the President of the Association of Intervention Specialists and is a Board Member of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers.
Flood previously served as Vice President of Treatment Services for Seabrook House in Seabrook, New Jersey, where she oversaw a number of treatment programs of which the women’s program became nationally recognized for best practices in women’s treatment.
Flood is also an accomplished and published writer with her most recent work featured in New Directions for Women’s first publication, The Glories of Sobriety, a collection of twenty-four true accounts of triumph over addiction and life’s true glories that are found in sobriety.
Our media room contains current and archived press releases and press coverage of New Directions for Women. Everyone should be aware of the issues pertaining to alcoholism and drug addiction. Helping journalists introduce these issues to the public, creating social consciousness, is our aim. We will be happy to work with any reporter, provided they respect all New Directions for Women polices of privacy and ethics for our patients.
